Potential SHOW QUALITY CONTRACT OF SALE

DATE OF SALE:

In consideration of the sum of $          this dog is sold with the following conditions:

Buyer agrees that, if for any reason whatsoever, Buyer can no longer keep dog or no longer wishes to have dog in their possession, Buyer agrees OK&K first option to purchase dog for original purchase price.   ________

OF&K guarantees the dog to be in good health at time of purchase.  __________

OF&K guarantees the dog to be free of HD at 30 months.  __________

OF&K guarantees the dog to be free of genetic eye problems to 26 months  _________

OF&K reserves the right to cancel sale and refund monies up to time of delivery.  ______

Buyer guarantees the dog will be kept in a safe and secure manner.  _________

Buyer guarantees the dog will have proper medical care, nutrition, socialization and training, have hips OFA certified (NOT PENNHIP) by 26 months of age and to have eyes cleared annually by a certified canine ophthalmologist.  _________

Buyer guarantees the dog will have its hips OFA certified by 26 months of age and send copies of results to OF&K.   __________

Buyer guarantees the dogs will have its eyes examined by a Board Certified Canine Ophthalmologist on a yearly basis and send copies of results to OF&K. If dog does not pass his/her eye exam, Buyer agrees to have dog rechecked within 60 days by a second vet not associated with the first vet. If dog fails second exam, it must be spayed/neutered within 60 days of second exam.  __________

Buyer guarantees dog will NOT be bred prior to having OFA certification and eyes cleared at 2 years of age. To do so would render this contract null and void and immediate repossession will take place. __________

If dog develops any of the aforementioned medical issues within the time guidelines, Buyer agrees to spay/neuter the dog and a replacement will be made from the next available litter. Any other issues will be considered on an individual basis.  __________

This dog is sold as potential show quality. OF&K does not guarantee that dog will obtain it’s Championship. Only that at the time of sale, the dog shows the potential of being of quality to successfully obtain its Championship upon reaching adulthood. If dog is co-owned with OF&K, OF&K reserves the right to take possession of the dog with intent to train, condition and show. It is at the discretion of OF&K to take possession of dog for as long a period of time as necessary to obtain AKC, UKC and/or ASCA titles.  _________

If dog is male, OF&K reserves breeding rights for any bitch owned, co-owned or leased by OF&K limited to three bitches per calendar year. No stud fee will be charged.  __________

BUYER UNDERSTANDS THAT GUARANTEE IS FOR REPLACEMENT ONLY. AT NO TIME WILL OF&K ISSUE MONETARY REFUND.  _________

If at any time OF&K determines that dog is being abused , neglected or otherwise kept in a manner not in the dogs best interest, OF&K reserves the right to repossess dog for the sum of ten dollars ($10.00).
